Once you've reviewed our Calendar of Tastiness, placed your order, and Baking Night has occurred, the very last thing to accomplish is to get those sweets to you! We currently operate on a mail-order basis only, so the two options available (for now) are pick-up and delivery.
We now offer a $2 delivery service, serving the Gainesville area within the following boundary roads:
Our delivery window is usually Thursday from 4:30p - 6:30p. It may occasionally fall on a Wednesday or Friday at the same time of day, however, depending on when that week's Baking Night took place (Delivery will always be the very next day after Baking Night, see our Calendar for specifics). If you'd like to take advantage or our In-Town Delivery option simply inform us when you order, or add that option to your Shopping Cart before Checkout. If you'll be unavailable during the Delivery Window, however, please look over our Pick-Up options, which are more flexible in terms of timing.
We generally try to accomodate our pick-up orders by making mutually convenient arrangements of location and time. These specifics vary from person to person and week to week depending on what everyone is up to, but to help you avoid the delivery fee, we can usually provide one or two options about where we'll be at various times within the first 48 hours of Baking Night so that we can meet with you to exchange goodies (you get the edible ones, we get the spendable ones).
Because of the extremely fresh and wholesome nature of our baked goods, pick-up must be prearranged and our meeting should be NO LATER than within the first 48 hours after Baking Night. We want you to enjoy your sweets at their freshest, and given their perishable nature, we just don't feel good about getting them to you later than that. There have been special occasions where, having advance knowledge that a patron would not be around at the specified pick-up times due to work or travel, we froze orders immediately and held them for up to a week, but our storage ilimitations and our commitment to flavor generally render this our distantly second-favorite plan of action. If you have any questions, you can always email us and we'll help you resolve your concerns. Please give us 24 hours notice of any changes to the pick-up time and location, and if something comes up suddenly, let us know and we'll be happy to freeze your treats until we can arrange to meet.
The September Num-Nums Notice is out! Click the "Order Now!" link or visit our online calendar to see what's cookin'. Also, The Confectionary is filling out nicely, as is more of the general site info (slowly but surely), like our Pick-Up/Delivery area and more.
New website slated for release tomorrow! Still under construction but ready for launch...sure. Yeah. That's what we're telling ourselves, anyway... Fun!
New photos uploaded from the evening of The Golden Apples! (For sweets bakers, we seem to deal with a lot of "ham"...) Very silly captions are the product of Samara's deranged humor - check out the Photo Gallery!
Very busy with catering this month: The Golden Apples annual awards ceremony for the GCP; the monthly meeting of the Alachua County Foster Grandparents Association; and a private wedding.
Summertime recipe share - free recipe to try at home! We came up with this while hunting for a healthier alternative to the popular and traditional Rice Krispy® Treats. Check out our Healthy Cheerios® Treats in The Confectionary!
